Millennium was a great show that never got the attention it deserved because it was incorrectly billed as a spin off of The X-Files, and there were too many cooks in the kitchen when it came to deciding what the show was really about. But with the way Chris Carter handles shows past a season or two, it’s a blessing that its life was cut short. And I actually think they had a nice little swan song for it with the episode of The X-Files called Millennium, but I really wish Chris Carter could come up with a plot point that doesn’t involve a kidnapped/disappeared/dead sister/daughter/son. I mean, there are a million things I wish Chris Carter could come up with, but that’s a big one.
Seriously, what is Chris Carter even up to these days? Because you know what he’s not up to? Writing a damn third X-Files movie. Does he not remember that he ended his series by saying that the alien invasion will happen at the end of this year. GET ON IT.
